Dreamworld Theme Park

Dreamworld covers a massive 30 hectares and has a collection of awesome rides - many with a water theme to take advantage of the gorgeous Queensland weather.

The theme park's attractions include thrilling rides like Thunderbolt, Wipeout and Giant Drop - plus many, many more. Plus for the littlies a Tiger Island theme world (with real tigers), a koala and kangaroo sanctuary, a riverboat cruise, and 'Gold Rush Country'.

Warner Brothers Movie World Theme Park

Popular movies such as Superman, Scooby Doo, Shrek, Lethal Weapon, and Wild West have their own special adventure attractions. There's lots of heart pounding rides, incredible visual effects, stacks of memorabilia for sale, and a fantastic Main Street Star Parade. Wet'n'Wild Water World Theme Park

Seaworld

Seaworld is a kind of cross between a theme park and tropical water zoo! People LOVE Seaworld because you can get close to dolphins, seals, sharks and polar bears. Swimming with dolphins is on so many people's wishlists, and at Seaworld this dream can become a reality (and you can take home photographs to prove it!).

Animals aside, there are stacks of rides and attractions at Seaworld to get your adrenaline pumping!

Claim to fame: Swim with the dolphins, see the most feared species of shark in the world! Allows you to check off your holiday wish list to get close to wildlife, and mix it with some fun.

Whitewater World Theme Park

Whitewater World is the offspring of Dreamworld. It's yet another water theme park which claims to have the most advanced water ride park ON EARTH.. Whitewater World has a variety of rides to keep everyone in the family happy -  extreme waterslides, and loads of water rides. They also try and incorporate as much high technology into their rides to give you a bigger thrill.

For kids there's Wiggle Bay, a toddler playground and a pipeline plunge.

Claim to fame: Boasts four of the "world's best" water slides (watch out for wedgies).
